The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gale Lee can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

From Lenor Lee's "Third Cousin"

I'm sorry to hear of Lenor's death, although I never actually met her. She was the daughter of Robert E. Lee, a son of my first cousin Veda Frye Lee. Lenor knew of me from reading the Christmas letters I sent each year to my relatives, including her father. She took it upon herself to contact me as a "third cousin" who had enjoyed reading my letters each year. We established a correspondence, and from then on I sent her personal copies of my Christmas letters. Lenor also had seen some of the restaurant reviews I had published, and I added her to the E-mail distribution list of these reviews. Some months ago the E-mail utility began returning these messages as no longer deliverable to Lenor's address. I began fearing the worst, because at one point she had mentioned that she had a health problem. I am sorry that I had never met her; I always wanted to see what a person with such a pretty name as Lenore Lee looked like. Perry Crabill, 96 years old Winchester, VA
