Obituary for Gale Lenor Lee

Gale Lenor Lee, 56, of Winchester, Virginia, passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017 in the Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center.
She was born on August 21, 1961, in Winchester; the daughter of Robert E. and Patricia Williams Lee. Lenor was baptized in 1977 at the Grace Brethren Church in Winchester.
She graduated from James Wood High School in 1979 and received her Associates degree from LFCC in 1981. Lenor was employed in the secretarial field for 27 years, working at an attorney’s office, a bank, and an accounting office. In 2008, she went to LFCC and obtained a legal assistant studied certificate and graduated CUM Laude in 2010.
She is survived by her father, Robert Eugene Lee; her sister, Laura Lee Shenk and brother in law, Dwight Shenk; a nephew, Daniel R. Shenk; nieces; Heather N. Shenk, and Lonnie A. Bichel; two great nephews and one great niece all from the Winchester area. Also surviving are special aunts, Patricia L. Smith and Carol T. Williams and special friends, Sharon Beach, Shelby Hodgson and Chloie.
Lenore is predeceased by her mother, Patricia Williams Lee in 2006; and her niece, Amy H. Shenk in 2016.
A funeral will be held at Jones Funeral Home Thursday evening August 31, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor C. Steve Melester officiating. A visitation will follow until 8:00 p.m.
A private burial will be held in Mt Hebron Cemetery at a later date
