Helen R. Bean, 93, of Winchester, died Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at The Willows at Meadow Branch.
Mrs. Bean was born February 11, 1924 in Davis, WV; the daughter of Mark Anthony Ritenour and Bessie Mabel Boyce Ritenour. She had been a beautician. She was a member of Greenway Baptist Church.
She married Martin Lee Bean of March 15, 1946 in Hagerstown, MD. Mr. Bean preceded her in death on October 27, 1986.
She is survived by her daughter in law, Carol Mauck of Winchester; two grandchildren, Cathy Patterson and Denny Mauck both of Winchester; and two great grandchildren, Jessica Patterson and Casey Patterson both of Winchester. She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert Lee Bean, Dwayne Martin Bean and Darrell Vane Bean and a brother, Marvin Mark Ritenour.
The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Hebron Cemetery with Frederick Franklin officiating.
