Obituary for Ellen Barbara Funk (Ziese)
Ellen B. Funk, 57, of Bunker Hill, WV, died Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Funk was born October 1, 1959 in East Islip, NY; the daughter of Frank F. Ziese, Jr. and Eleanor Onken Ziese.
She married Matthew M. Funk on July 29, 2006 in Winchester.
Along with her husband, she is survived by her children, Thomas Jaye Huston and his wife Allie of Stephens City and Michael Matthew Funk of Grottoes, VA; two step children, Brook Batkoski and Ramsey Huston both of Jacksonville, FL; two brothers, John Ziese and his wife Amanda of Albertville, AL and Frank Ziese, III of Williston, OH; and one sister, Susan Lamb and her husband Keith of Tiffin , OH.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Stephens City.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in the Jones Funeral Home Chapel in Stephens City with Pastor Tim Butler officiating. Burial will follow in Ridings Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430.
