Obituary for Harold Eugene "Bud" Haas Jr.

Harold Eugene “Bud” Haas Jr, 79, of Stephens City, VA, passed away peacefully at his home after a long battle with cancer, Sunday April 2, 2017 at his home. He was surrounded by his loving family.
Bud was born December 6, 1937 in Chambersburg, PA; the son of Harold E. Haas Sr. and Frederica Frank Haas. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Bud was a member of the American Legion Post 358, Pulaski, NY. He owned a vacuum cleaner and sewing machine store for many years in Pulaski, NY. After retiring and moving to Stephens City, VA he joined Meade Memorial Episcopal Church in White Post, VA.
Bud married Constance Stowell Haas June 10, 1961 in Pulaski, NY.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; two children, Jennifer Marie Haas Marcin and husband, John, of Lexington, MA, and Ronald Haas and wife, Teresa of Middletown, VA; and one sister, Katie Wilson, of Seminole, Florida.
He is preceded in death by a sister, Frederica F. “Rickey” Haas.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday April 8, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Meade Memorial Episcopal Church in White Post, VA with Rev. Howard Humphrey officiating.
