The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dolores Devereux can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: The name Dolores Devereux was a refrain in my childhood, because the woman Dolores was such a valued friend of my mother, Vivian Cissel Neuhauser.
They had gone to "1719" (Convent of the Sacred Heart school) together.
My mother died last November, 2018, and I have been looking online for my mother's long-lost friends. My mom had a fair degree of dementia for the last 3-4 years of her life, so she was out of touch with Dolores...which saddens my heart, that old dear friends can lose track of one another; but it's just a natural development in very old age.
If Dolores' family reads this message: I know my mother would have taken immense delight in connecting with her old friend before both passed away; and I send my mother's love to all the Devereux and to the spirit of their mother.
