Obituary for Wyonnia Lynn Tenney
Wyonnia Lynn Tenney, 57, of Winchester, died Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Tenney was born September 26, 1958 in Winchester; the daughter of Robert Lee Sirk and Patricia “Patsy” Russell Sirk. She had been a caregiver through Frederick County Social Services. She was a member of Bethel Grange Hall Church.
She married Joseph Craig Tenney on January 9, 1988 in Winchester.
Along with her parents and her husband, she is survived by her children, Emily Lauren Tenney Hisghman and her husband Joshua of Inwood, WV and Cody William Tenney and his fianceé Jillian of Winchester; one grandchild, Ava Sofia Hisghman; and a sister Tabitha Taylor of Stephens City. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tressie Lynn Tenney and a brother, Robert Allen Sirk.
The family will receive friends on Sunday evening from 5-7 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester.
Funeral services will be private.
