Reading the obituary of Mr. Danko gave me fond memories of the many years I saw him as a patient. I recall how we discussed his love of horse racing. He was very excited when my daughter became an equine vet, and would always ask about her. I am preparing to retire after 37 years of practice, and Mr. Danko remains one of my favorite patients.
