Obituary for Hilda Virginia Wilt (Russell)
Hilda Virginia Wilt, 80, of Winchester, VA passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019.
She was born in Winchester on February 10, 1938; the daughter of James R. and Mary Virginia Perry Russell. She was a graduate of James Wood High School Class of 1957 and worked twenty-nine years for Winchester Medical Center. She was a member of Victory Church.
Hilda married Larry Raymond Wilt on May 23, 1970 at First Assembly of God in Winchester. They were married for forty-eight years.
Along with her husband, Larry of Winchester, Hilda is survived by her brothers, David Russell and Dan Russell both of Winchester.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Robert H. Russell and H. Ralph Russell.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 19, 2019 from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Cunsolo and Rev. Hartley Wigfield officiating. Burial will be private at a later date in Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town, WV.
