Obituary for Mark Anthony Welch Sr.
Mark A. Welch Sr, 59, of Brucetown, VA died Friday December 21, 2018 at his home.
He was born October 22, 1959 in Frederick County, VA; the son of the late Arthur C. Welch and his mother Mary Jean Welch of Brucetown.
Mark worked as a tree trimmer for many years.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Jean Welch; three children, Mark A. Welch Jr. of Martinsburg, WV, Maggie Welch and Chassity Welch of Front Royal, VA; three brothers, Kenny Welch of Winchester, Curtis Welch of Bunker Hill, WV and Gregory Welch of Gillette, WY and a sister, Joyce Welch Seal of Front Royal.
Mark is preceded in death by his father, Arthur Welch and a brother, Marvin Welch.
The family will receive friends Monday, December 31, 2018 at the Jones Funeral Home in Winchester from 1:00-2:00 p.m. with funeral services to follow on Monday at 2:00 p.m. with The Rev. Charles W. Franks officiating.
Burial will follow at Paynes Chapel Cemetery, Bunker Hill. Pallbearers will be Joshua Welch, Matthew Welch, Andrew Welch, Jimmy Weatherholt, Gary Dicks Jr., and Johnny Dicks.
