Obituary for David Allott Reed
David A. Reed, 88, of Stephens City, Virginia, died Saturday August 18, 2018 at Winchester Medical Center.
He was born November 17, 1929 in Sharon, Pennsylvania, the son of Frederick J. and Grace A. Reed. David was an avid golfer and instructor for many years.
Mr. Reed is survived by four daughters: Gayle E. Ridings of Stephens City, VA, Patricia Jo Kaeding, of Alexandria, VA, Carol D. Carlisle of Brookland, TX and Deborah Ann Randall of Woodville, TX, fifteen grandchildren, twenty eight grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter Mary Helen Reed and a brother Gordon A. Reed.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 25, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Zion Baptist Church, 110 Zion Church Road in White Post, VA with Pastor Phillip Brumbach officiating.
