Roger Lee Rector, 41, of Bunker Hill, WV passed away at the Hospice of the Panhandle on Monday, June 11, 2018 in Kearneysville, WV.

He was born in Warren County, VA; the son of Robert Lee Rector and Doris Jean Ramey Rector. He worked for S P Medical as a Laser Officer. His positive and upbeat zest for life was contagious. His faith in the Lord’s plan was evident in the way he Lived every day.

Roger married Lisa Ann Mangold on September 8, 2007 in Winchester, VA.

Along with his parents and his wife, Roger is survived by his sons, Jacob Lee Rector of Bunker Hill, WV, Mark Jason Higinbotham and Dennis Michael Higinbotham both of Winchester; sister, Pamela Jean Hock (Tony) of Reno, NV; nephews, Brayden Richard Hock and Jared Andrew Hock both of Reno and his paternal grandmother, Irene Jenkins of Myrtle Beach, SC.

The family will receive friends on Friday evening, June 15, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home. To show Roger’s love for sports please dress in your favorite sports attire.

A funeral service will be held at Winchester Church of God on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Aaron Brewer officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Education Fund of Jacob Lee Rector.
