Eddie L. Morgan, of Stephens City, Virginia passed on October, 25, 2018.
He was the loving husband to Barbara. He was the father of four children, Rachael P. Luckett, Daniel P. Morgan, Anna J. Shoemaker. He was preceded in death by son MSGT Michael A. Morgan. He had four step children, Clint Cantrell, David Cantrell, Shane Cantrell and Savannah Cantrell. He had 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, TJ Morgan, of Rock Hill, South Carolina.
He was a Vietnam Veteran awarded the Republic of Vietnam Cross of Gallantry for his actions in combat. Mr. Morgan retired from FEMA in March of 2002, after a total of 31 years of service. The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of contributions to the American Red Cross of Winchester.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Stephens City.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Stephens City. Burial will be private in Quantico National Cemetery.
