Obituary for Sandra Jean "Sandy" Grites (Grites)
Sandra Jean Grites, “Sandy”, 64, previously of Winchester, VA passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Envoy of Woodbridge.
Sandy was born November 19, 1952 in Winchester; the daughter of the late Vernon Hott and Stella Grites. Sandy worked for Northwestern Workshop and loved spending time with her brothers.
Sandy is survived by her brothers, Robert Huff of Winchester and Eugene Cooper of Knoxville, TN.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 18, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home, Winchester with Reverend Mike Mayton officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Mount Hebron Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in honor of Sandy to the N.W. Works, 3085 Shawnee Drive, Winchester, VA 22601.
