Betty Jewell Bly, 84, of Winchester, died Sunday, December 24, 2017 at Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Bly was born July 5, 1933 in Arlington, VA; the daughter of James D. Jewell and Roberta Lawrence Jewell. She was a member of Opequon Presbyterian Church.
She married Douglas W. Bly, Sr. on July 14, 1951 in Arlington. Mr. Bly preceded her in death.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Ann Leon of Cape Coral, FL ; one grandchild and one sister. She was preceded in death by her son, Douglas W. Bly, Jr., a brother and two sisters.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home with Rev. David Witt officiating. Burial will be at 11:30 a.m. at Toms Brook Cemetery.
