We had the privilege of witnessing Mr. Utterback officiate at Carly's wedding; what a special memory for a grandfather and granddaughter to share. God bless.

Condolence: Although we moved from Virginia four years ago, we still cherish our memories of Carlton, both through our church and as a friend. Working with him on various committees proved him to be positive, thoughtful, calm, and a great team player. Frank especially enjoyed knowing him in the "Old Men's Sunday School Class" and as an usher. We were blessed to have known him.

Condolence: Butch was the wonderful man and we are so grateful to have had the chance to know him and spend time with him. He always made us feel so welcome. He was a joy to be around. We will miss him greatly.

Condolence: I was shocked to see the obituary today. Butch was a great neighbor and such a nice and generous person. I've only known him for a year but will really miss him.

Condolence: I can't believe I just read in the paper that Butch passed away! Butch was the best neighbor one could have. We will miss you neighbor :-(

Condolence: My condolences to the Utterback family. My heart is heavy and I am so saddened to hear of Butch's passing. He was a wonderful friend to my Father (Jim Devers) as well as my whole family. Over the five years since my Dad passed away, Butch would call to check on me to see if I was okay, or needed anything. I will miss him, as I know you all will even more so. My thoughts are with you all at this difficult time.

Condolence: We are at a loss for words at the passing of Carlton. We knew him through Berryville Baptist Church. He was a true gentleman. We could always count on handshake, a phone call, a "how are you doing". Great to talk to and good business and common sense. We really looked up to him and cherished his friendship. We will miss him greatly!
