Harold R. “Bussy” Conner, 91, of Stephenson, VA died Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care, Winchester, VA.
He was born August 30, 1927, in Winchester, the son of Robert Lee and Margery Conner. “Bussy” was an owner/operator of a milk truck for many years and then worked in Construction with Howard Shockey and Sons Inc.
He is survived by one son, Allen “Russ” Conner of Stephenson, three sisters, Helen Funkhouser, Mary McKay of Winchester, and Nancy Henry of Frederick County, VA. four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
“Bussy” is preceded in death by a son, John W. Conner, two brothers: Robert Conner and Clarence Conner, and two sisters, Shirley Shumaker and Louise Shade.
The family will receive friends Monday, October 1, 2018 at the Jones Funeral Home from 7:00- 9:00 p.m. A funeral will be held Tuesday October 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Jones Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Looman officiating. Entombment will follow in Shenandoah Memorial Park
