Willard “Bill” W. Johnson, 89, formerly of Winchester, Virginia, died Tuesday, September 25, 2018.
He was born December 19, 1928 in Tigerton, Wisconsin, the son of Oscar and Martha P. Johnson. He retired after many years working in construction as a heavy equipment operator.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his loving family of VA, Alice N. Brown, Donna N. Kees, Edward R. Nail, Bobbie N. Holliday, Richard D. Staubs, and his loving family in Wisconsin, a brother, Louie Johnson and a sister Shirley J. Kutchenriter. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews and in law family members.
Bill is preceded in death by his loving companion of 30 years, Alice V. Staubs and two children: Dennis Johnson, and Jerry Johnson.
There will be a one hour visitation from 11:30 to 12:30 at the Jones Funeral Home Wednesday October 3, 2018.
A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at Mount Hebron Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. John Stelzl officiating. Pallbearers will be Richard Dean Staubs, Edward Randolph Nail, Chad Randolph Nail, David Kees, Roy Renner Jr., and Edward Seal lll.
