Obituary for Beverly Hickerson
Beverly Hickerson, age 77, returned to our Lord on Tuesday, August 21, 2018, in Orlando, FL.
Beverly was born in Washington D.C. and lived with her family in Winchester, VA. She graduated from Handley High School. Beverly married Bill, her husband of 49 years and later moved to Florida with her family. She became a highly regarded and successful Custom Home Builder, Commercial Building Contractor, and Real Estate Broker. She traveled the world and loved doting on her grandchildren. She was a fearless go-getter that won the hearts and respect of all that knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, honesty, and belief that anything is achievable.
She is survived by her three children, Vickie Murphy, Karen Perry, and Mark Hickerson; daughter in-law, Kelli Hickerson; grandchildren, Robert Murphy, Ryan Murphy, Connor Murphy, Megan Murphy, Jack Hickerson, Holly Hickerson, and Andre Perry; and family members, Ronald Whitacre, Geraldine Whitmer, Julie, Rick, Erin, and Emma Foster, and Robbie and Pegi Hickerson.
Beverly was preceded in death by her husband Harry William (Bill) Hickerson; and her parents, Dorotha and Alger Coffman.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6-8 at the funeral home.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home, 228 South Pleasant Valley Road, Winchester.
