Obituary for Ralph Melvin Croson

Ralph Melvin Croson, 63, of Stephens City, VA passed away on Friday, June 29, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.

Ralph was born on November 17, 1954 in Washington, D. C.; the son of Ralph and Oretta Croson. He was a graduate of James Wood High School Class of 1973. He was an industrial mechanic at Sysco and a Biomed Technician at Aramark. He attended Macedonia United Methodist Church.

He married Susan Gayle Wade on June 14, 1980 in Winchester.

Along with his wife, Susan, he is survived by sons, Kyle Wade Croson of Stephens City and Adam Ralph Croson (Tracey) of Cross Junction, VA; sisters, Patricia Croson, Karen Croson and Deborah Paskal all of Myrtle Beach, SC, Natalie Kline and Kathy Morris of Bunker Hill, WV and grandchildren, Conner Ralph Croson, Mackenzie Grace Croson and Kyleigh Faith Croson.

Ralph’s first priority in life was to take care of his family. You can tell this by his hard work ethic. He will always be remembered for his generous nature. He would do anything for anyone with a smile on his face. His fun-loving, playful spirit will be remembered always in the hearts of his family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, July 5, 2018 from 6:00-7:00 p.m. at Macedonia United Methodist Church. A memorial service will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Mike Mayton officiating.
