The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Harold Cooper can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Tim Stotler

As a proud Virginian, I often reflect back on my time in the Valley, specifically Winchester. In 1977, I had the privilege of working for Mr. Cooper grading and seeding lawns in Stonebrook. I learned more in those few summer months than many take years to learn. Mr. Cooper was an admirable man, with a solid work ethic and a kind, gentle spirit. Unfortunately, I never saw much of Mr. Cooper after that summer job, but his memory is with me today as I approach my 55th. May the Lord bless Mr. Cooper and receive him unto the Kingdom while the Holy Spirit provides peace and comfort to his family during this difficult time.
