Obituary for Dana Thomas Widger
Dana Thomas Widger, 63, of Stephens City, VA, died Friday April 20, 2018 at the Winchester Medical Center.
He was born October 22, 1954 in Kansas City, MO; the son of George Thomas and Shirley Smith Widger. Dana received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from the University of Missouri. Dana retired as a Human Resources Manager for Kroger.
Dana married Rebecca Ellis, November 7, 1981 in St. Louis, MO.
Along with his wife, Rebecca, he is survived by three children; Garrett A. Widger of Stephens City, VA, Allison W. Butler (Aaron) of Stephenson, VA , and Colleen M. Widger of Radford, VA; two grandchildren; Easton and Lawson Butler; a brother, David Widger of Chicago, IL and a sister, Jan Widger of Reno, NV.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
