Philip R  Davis
Phillip Richard Davis, 78, of Stephens City, Virginia, died Monday, April 9, 2018 at Winchester Medical Center.
He was born June 30, 1939, in Yellow Springs, WV, the son of Charles Galen and Frances Jordan Davis. He was attended Fairview United Methodist Church and retired from A.B.F. Trucking Co. as a truck driver.
Philip married Connie Middleton Davis July 16, 1977 in Clarke County, VA.
Along with his wife Connie, he is survived by two sons, Roger Allen Benner, Jr. (Robin) of Fredericksburg, VA and Daniel Allen Benner (Jody Steckman) of Cross Junction, VA and six grandchildren, Luke Davis, Katelin Benner, Patrick Benner, Dalton Benner, Tyler Saville, and Megan Benner.
He is preceded in death by a son, Timothy Phillip Davis and a brother, C. Galen Davis Jr.
The family will receive friends Saturday April 21, 2018 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home in Stephens City, VA. A funeral will follow at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor John Stelzl officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Fairview United Methodist Church for Friendship Chapel, P.O. Box 202, Stephens City, VA.
