Shelby Jean  Harler
Shelby Jean Harler, 78, of Winchester, VA died Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at her home.
She was born May 24, 1939 in Oak Hill, West Virginia, the daughter of Harry and Rose Calvert. She was a member of Greenwood United Methodist Church, Winchester Moose Lodge # 1283, and Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 824.
Shelby married John Alan Harler, January 18, 1957 in Oak Hill, WV.
She is survived by John, her husband of 61 years, a daughter Diana L. Jenkins of Winchester, VA, two granddaughters, Phalen Smith of Winchester, VA and Lillian Titus of Charlestown, WV, two great grandchildren, Kayden Smith and Vivian Titus, and three sisters, Martha Sydnor, Isabelle Stone, and Shirley Grzyb.
Shelby is preceded in death by three brothers, Victor Calvert, Sherman Calvert, and Alfred Calvert, and a sister, Vonna Kincaid.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Greenwood UMC in Winchester, with Rev. Keiko T. Foster officiating.
Burial will take place Monday at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill, WV.
