Obituary for Betty May Perry

Betty May Perry, 89, of Stephens City, died Monday, February 19, 2018 at Winchester Medical Center.
Ms. Perry was born February 12, 1929 in Front Royal, VA; the daughter of the late Beulah Lucas May and Dwight R. May. She graduated from Washington & Lee High School in Arlington and went to work for Weaver Bros. Realty Co. and later for the Defense Intelligence Agency. She lived in Arlington until she moved to Stephens City in 2007.
She was a member of The Church of Clarenden in Arlington and attended Valley Bible Church in Stephens City.
Betty is survived by her sisters, Ann Gillenwater (Van) and Donna M. Moriarty (Jim). She is also survived by nephews, David W. Gillenwater (Mona), Daniel L. Gillenwater (Maureen) and Allen B. St. Clair; her niece, Cathy S. Baker (Wallace); five grand nephews and two grand nieces.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Calvin Louder officiating. Burial will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at Columbia Gardens Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
