Obituary for Glynda McGuinn Hall (McGuinn)
Glynda McGuinn Hall, 69, of Winchester, VA died Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Winchester Medical Center.
She was born on June 22, 1948 in Pine Grove, VA, the daughter of Claude W. and Mary Catherine Racer McGuinn. She married David Clay Hall on February 12, 1967 in Winchester. Glynda was a homemaker and an Interior Decorator.
She is survived by, David, her husband of 50 years; a daughter, Cathy Dillow and husband, Dwayne, of Winchester; a son, Todd Hall, of St. Petersburg, FL; a brother, Claude W. “Mackie” McGuinn, Jr. of Woodstock, VA; and seven grandchildren: Michael Dillow, Madison Dillow, Brenton Hall, Danyelle Hall, Reagan Hall, Brady Hall, and Lily Hall.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Jones Funeral Home with Pastor Larry Hickey officiating. Burial will follow in Shenandoah Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Michael Dillow, Danny McFarland, Brian McGuinn, Jason Hall, Jimmy “Buck” Singhas, Edward Lagace, and Bob Baker.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Inc., 262 Danny Thomas Pl MSC 512, Memphis, TN 38105.
