Obituary for Norine Mary Starr
Norine Mary Starr, 77, of Winchester, went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 03, 2017 at Winchester Medical Center.
Norine was born August 8, 1940, the daughter of the late, Claude and Viola Stanley Ano. She was a domestic engineer, raising five children.
She married Linford Starr on August 8, 1981 in Keeseville, NY.
Along with her husband she is survived by her children, Michael Williams (Gail) of Waycross, GA, April LaPorte (Pete) of Massena, NY, Tonya Blouin (Bradford) of Stephenson, VA, Mark Dumas of Manchester, CT and Eric Dumas (Paula) of Cadyville, NY; fifteen grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and two sisters, Barbara Ano Spooner (Gilbert ) of Keeseville, NY and Linda Ano Depo of Winchester.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Calvin Ano, Francis Ano and Roger Ano; sister, Constance Ano Barse; one grandchild and one great grandchild.
A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 1:00-3:30 p.m. at her home. A Memorial Service will follow at 3:30 with Gary Grove officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in honor of Norine may be made to Mercy Ships at mercyships.org or For Children’s Sake of Virginia at fcsva.org.
