Obituary for George Elias Deeb
George Elias Deeb, 78, of Stephens City, VA, passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Blue Ridge Hospice In-Patient Care Center.
George was born July 8, 1939 in Poughkeepsie, NY; the son of George Deeb Sr. and Irene Kisch Deeb. He worked for IBM until his retirement in 1993. George was a member of the Lions Club in Nokesville.
He married Marcia Louise McGhee August 10, 1963 in Amenia, NY.
George is survived along with his wife by his son, Paul Arthur Deeb; daughter, Leslie Christine Deeb and her husband Christerpher Venable of Stephens City; granddaughter, Starr DeHaven; brothers, Barry Deeb and his wife Sandra and Michael Deeb both of Wichita Falls, TX; sisters Trudy Hughes of Abilene, TX and Martina Deeb of Phoenix, AZ and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 26, 2017, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Stephens City.
A funeral service will be Monday, November 27, 2017 at Macedonia United Methodist Church at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Michael Mayton officiating.
In honor of George Deeb memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601.
