Mary  Racey
Mary Ellen Racey, 76, of Winchester, VA passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2017 at the Winchester Medical Center.
Mary was born October 17, 1940 in Upperville, VA; the daughter of the late Willie Marshall Glascock and Catherine Virginia Jenkins. Mary worked for the Loudoun County School Systems as a school bus and cafeteria aide. She was a member of the Skippy’s Bowling League in Warrenton, VA.
She married Richard Racey on November 27, 1999 in Winchester.
Mary is survived by her husband, Richard; two stepdaughters, Trudy Myers, and husband, Michael, of Stephens City, VA, Amy Molden, and husband, Robbie, of Middletown, VA; a niece, Judy Cooper, of Winchester; six grandchildren, Alyson Scott, Haley Myers, Tucker Myers, Quinna Molden, Maelyn Molden and Eddyn Molden; a brother, Robert Glascock, of Charlestown, WV; two sisters, Grace Louise Embrey, of Harpers Ferry, WV and Lois Jappa, of Warrenton, VA; and four step siblings.
Along with her parents, Mary is preceded in death by a brother, Billy Glascock; a sister, Ruth Hough and one step sibling.
The family would like to acknowledge the staff of Winchester Pulmonary Medicine, especially Dr. Keith Wolfe, Winchester Medical Critical Care Unit, along with Dr. Benjamin Lewis for all their dedication to her needs.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home with Pastor Bryan Keyser officiating. There will be a visitation one hour prior the funeral service from 10:00-11:00 am. Burial will follow in Ivy Hill Cemetery, Upperville, VA.
Pallbearers will be Robbie Molden, Michael Myers, Tucker Myers, Billy Schuler, Junior Schuler and Billy Keyser.
