Obituary for Carol Lee "Carol" Keefer (Eaton)
Carol Lee Keefer, 59, of Berryville, VA passed away on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Winchester Medical Center.
Carol was born December 25, 1957 in Winchester; the daughter of the late Oscar Kennedy Eaton and Peggy Lou Hoover. She was a Registered Nurse at Winchester Medical Center.
Carol married Timmy Keefer June 21, 1980 at the little white Macedonia United Methodist Church.
Carol is survived by her husband Tim; son, Eric Mark Keefer and his wife Cyndi of Cross Junction; a grandson, Jax Mark Keefer; a brother, Kenny Eaton, and wife Claudia, of Anderson, SC and sister, Cindy Neff and husband Kenny, of Junction City, KS.
A visitation will be Monday, October 9, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Macedonia United Methodist Church with pastors, Mike Mayton, Tom Barnard and Hyo Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Macedonia Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Terry Holtzclaw, Tom Hayes, Jeff Grubb, Andrew Eaton, James Walk and Nick Eaton.
Roses in honor of Carol may be sent to Jones Funeral Home or memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the American Cancer Society, 4340 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA, 23060.
