JAMES CALVIN UTZ

James Calvin Utz was born on April 20, 1960 in Charles Town, West Virginia and departed for Heaven on June 8, 2017 in St Augustine, Florida.

Calvin is survived by his mother, Shelva Jean Norman, and step father, Jim Norman, of St Augustine; a son, Calvin Shane Utz, and 2 beautiful granddaughters, Eden and Addison Utz, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; a brother, Curtis Lee Utz, and wife, Kim, of Spring Hill, Tennessee; and one niece, Whitney Shifflett, and husband, Tyler, of Virginia Beach, VA.

He was preceded in death by his father, Floyd William Utz, and one brother, Floyd Thomas (Tommy) Utz.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 17th from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Shenandoah Memorial Park. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Clyde Brooks officiating. Burial will follow the service.
Because Calvin had a dog that he adored, the family is encouraging donations be made in his honor to local animal shelters.
