Bradford Emerson Southworth, “Brad”, 59, of Winchester, VA passed away Friday, May 26, 2017, at Blue Ridge Hospice In-Patient Care Center.

He was born on August 16, 1957; the son of Sidney and Ellen Emerson Southworth. Brad worked as a supervisor at Berryville Graphics for twenty years.
He was a local musician who was a very accomplished guitarist.

He married Sheila Hilfiker, June 2, 1984 in Rochester, NY.

Along with his father and wife, Brad is survived by his sons, Ryan Bradford Southworth of Winchester and Colby Emerson Southworth of Pensacola, FL; sisters, Karen Southworth of Rochester, Sarah Day (Darrell) of Redding, CA and Sydney Southworth of Rochester; mother in law, Carol Graffrath (Howie) of Rochester; sisters in law, Debra Leary (Mike) of Rochester, Cindy Kane (Steve) of Akron, OH, Gail Derleth (Rob) of Rochester and Tammy Davidson (Dave) of Rochester and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother Ellen Marie Emerson Southworth.

Services will be held at a later date in Winchester as well as Rochester.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 West Cork Street, Winchester, VA 22601.

Brad was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
