Obituary for Robert Sirk

Robert L. Sirk, 78, of Winchester, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 22, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Sirk was born March 12, 1939 in Hampshire County, WV; the son of the late Robert William Sirk and Elsie Mayhew Sirk. He served in the Virginia National Guard. He retired from Southern States and was the owner of Triple S Small Engine Repair. He attended Abundant Life Church.
He married Patricia Russell on April 29, 1958 in Hagerstown, MD.
Along with his wife, Patricia R. Sirk, he is survived by his daughter, Tabitha Taylor and her husband Michael of Stephens City; two brothers, Paul Sirk of Winchester and Pierre Sirk of Ocala, FL; one sister, Debbie Walker of Winchester; four grandchildren, Emily Hisghman and her husband Josh, Hunter Taylor and his wife Elizabeth, Lacie Rae Taylor and Cody Tenney and his fiancé Jillian; and three great grandchildren, Vivian Sue Taylor, Avery Hisghman and Wyonnia Ann Hisghman. He was preceded in death by two children, Lynn Tenney and Robert Allen Sirk, and a sister, Alice Milburn.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Luis officiating. Burial will follow at Shenandoah Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Abundant Life Church, 700 Aylor Road, Stephens City, VA 22655.
