Elmer Woodrow "Buck"  Seal
Elmer Woodrow “Buck” Seal, 85, of Winchester, VA died on Friday, April 14, 2017 at the Winchester Medical Center in Winchester, VA.
Elmer was born December 23, 1931 in Page County, VA, the son of the late Jessie Seal and Lilian Corder Seal Ware. He served in the Korean War and retired as a Sergeant after 24 years in the US Army.
He married Helen Maxine Pappas Seal on June 23, 1953 in Winchester. She preceded him in death on July 9, 2010.
Elmer is survived by a daughter, Debbie K. Draper, of Fairfield, OH; three sons, Ted Allen Seal of Glendale, AZ, Terry W. Seal of North Port, FL, and Scott E. Seal of Clearbrook, VA; one brother, Tinker; two sisters, Joan and Judy; eight grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Frances.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester with Rev. David Hartley officiating. Entombment will follow in Shenandoah Memorial Park. Terry Seal, Jr., Ryan Seal, Patrick Seal, Aaron May, Terry Golliday, Bill Berryman, Larry Adams, and John Snapp will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6-8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Elmer to the American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, VA 23060.
