The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Granville Proffitt can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolences

Condolence From: Lori Ann Tony
Condolence: Granville, was a good soul who faced a terrible disease--although there was no guarantee he boldly went forward on clinical trials in hopes of helping find a cure for cancer. Even in death he donated his body for additional research so that others in the future may be spared.
I believe the quote below best describes him

“A great soul serves everyone all the time. A great soul never dies. It brings us together again and again.” – Maya Angelou

I miss his smile and sense of humor.
