Suzanne M. Rosenberger, “Suzy”, 82 of Winchester, died Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Rose Hill Health and Rehab in Berryville, VA.
Suzy was born February 20, 1936 in Queens, NY; the daughter of the late H. Graham and Anna Wood Rosenberger.
She received her bachelor’s degree from Madison College, now known as James Madison University. She was an English teacher and taught at John Handley High School. Suzy was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Winchester.
She is survived by her brothers, Johnathan West Rosenberger of Hawthorne, CA and Welton Wood Rosenberger of Elkins, WV; sister, Ella Virginia Lee Kambhu of Bangkok, Thailand; three nieces and two nephews and her cousin/caregiver Margaret Makowski and her husband, Albert whom she loved dearly.
She is preceded in death by her brother Graham Rosenberger.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, May 23 at 2:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dr. Dan McCoig officiating. A reception will follow at the church.
There will be a family and friends viewing at Jones Funeral Home Wednesday evening, May 23, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Burial will be private in Mount Hebron Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Adult Care Center of Northern Shenandoah Valley, 411 N. Cameron Street, Winchester, VA 22601
