Bettye H. Martenson, 88, of Winchester, VA, died Monday, March 20, 2017, at Winchester Medical Center.
Mrs. Martenson was born November 14, 1928 in Bourbon County, KY; the daughter of the late William Martin Hudnall and Ruby Frakes Hudnall.
She married Milton Axel Martenson on March 16, 1948 in Nicholas County, KY. Mr. Martenson preceded her in death.
She is survived by her children Edward A. Martenson and Stephen H. Martenson and his wife Linda; a brother Virgil Hudnall; two sisters, Nancye Thornberry and Drusie Miller; five grandchildren Joshua Martenson and his wife Gillian, Benn Martenson and his wife Jackie, Jacob Martenson and his wife Lauren, Lucas Martenson, and Hallie Martenson; and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at Shenandoah Valley Westminster Canterbury with Rev. Elizabeth Lewis officiating.
