Obituary for Mamie Guenther "Mary" Eaton (Guenther)
Mamie Guenther Eaton, “Mary”, 92, of Winchester, VA, passed away on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at her home.
Mary was born on February 4, 1925 in Washington, D.C.; the daughter of Nelson J. and Beatrice Dugan Guenther. She worked for Monroe College and for the Winchester Medical Center in the nursery. She loved the babies.
Surviving her are her children, David Dennis of Tucson, AZ, Shirley Guess of Winchester and Charles “Butch” Eaton of Winchester, twelve grandchildren and many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Jeffrey Scott Eaton and Nelson E. Dennis and by her siblings, Louis Guenther, Nelson Guenther and Magaret Guenther.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 11, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home. A funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Larry Veach officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
