Obituary for Douglas Edward Kelly
Douglas Edward Kelly, 59, of Frederick County, Virginia, died Friday, February 28, 2017 at his home.
He was born November 25, 1957 in Winchester, VA; the son of Howard E. and Waneda Bernice Allen Kelly. After the death of Waneda, Roy L. Andrews, Sr. and Virginia I. Andrews helped raise the children of Howard and Waneda.
Douglas was a truck driver for a local transport company for many years.
Mr. Kelly is survived by two children Brandy D. Kelly of Greenville, Ill and Randy D. Kelly of Winchester, VA, a grandson, Tye D. Kelly of Winchester, and a brother, David H. Kelly of Bunkerhill, WV, three sisters, Nancy P. Andrews of Front Royal, VA, Judy A. Mason of Winchester, VA and Kathye M. Trenary of Inwood, WV.
He is preceded in death by two brothers, Otis W. Andrews, Sr., and Roy L. Andrews, Jr., and a sister, Mary E. L. Lantz.
A visitation will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Chestnut Grove Church from 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. with a funeral to follow at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Anthony A. Wadsworth officiating. Burial will follow at Chestnut Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Otis W. Andrews Jr, Randy D. Kelly, Harry E. Andrews Jr, David H. Kelly Jr, Otis T. Andrews, and Rodney Trenary.
Memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 West Cork St, Winchester, VA 22601.
