Condolence: Dear Renee, David and families,

It is with great sorrow that we write this. Hans was very dear to our hearts. He had such an effervescent personality and his smile was very contagious. His loving devotion, care and tenderness in taking care of his (and our) dear Betty were such a beautiful examples of sacrificial love.

We have known both Hans & Betty for all our lives. They were dear friends to us for many years. We have seen them in good times and bad and they were both always upbeat and happy and optimistic. Hans will be sorely missed by us all. We thank God that he was in our lives.

May God bless and comfort you all, his children, grandchildren, siblings and friends left behind. We will miss our annual visits to Winchester to see Hans & Betty each July, but maybe we'll still stop in to see you Renee & Preston. Thank you also for taking such great care of your mom and dad for so many years. May God bless you all!

Barbara, Elsa & Heidi Reinhardt, Hackensack, NJ

Condolence: Hans and Betty were a wonderful, loving couple. Hans always had the nicest smile. He was a hard worker with an enormous loving heart. His unending devotion to his life’s partner was extraordinary and exemplary!! My family and I have known the Spahrs all our lives – from way back in Europe! Renee and David, you have lost a remarkable Dad and I know you will miss him. I am just sorry that I have not seen him since they moved away from NJ, although the family is often in my thoughts and prayers. May the Lord comfort you and your respective families. Hans will be missed by many! I thank God for his life.
