The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Robert Nicol can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Daniel G
Condolence: I was in two master's level classes with Rob - although I knew him only for a short time, I held the utmost respect for his intellect and inquisitive mind. Know that he positively influenced many of those around him, though he may not have even known it. Thank you for this presence.

Condolence: Amy, it saddens me to hear of Rob's passing. Though I did not know Rob, I knew his father well as we worked together for many years. I am certain Rob had many of his father's outstanding traits and was a great son, brother, relative and friend. He and Bill will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. Warm regards, Pat Kane

Condolence From: Sharon Hahn, mother of PFC Justin Hahn, USMC, and Troop 1550
Condolence: Altho I do not know your son, he and my son were in the same Scout troop for a while, and when I read his obituary I had to send my condolences. My son also attends Defense Language Institute, just like your son did. I felt an immediate bond, as they share many of the same life experiences. I am deeply sorry for your loss, especially at this time. Life is not fair. Ooh Rah, always faithful.
May he RIP.
