The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Emory Rodgers can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Denise Andriola
Condolence: Both of my boys wrestled with Emory on Handley's wrestling team. I remember cheering for Emory and all of the wrestlers. I remember that he wore bright colored wrestling shoes or sometimes he would mismatch the color of his wrestling shoes on purpose. I am so very sorry to learn of the tremendous loss of Emory. He is gone much too early. My thoughts are with Emory and his family during this most difficult time.

Condolence: You may not remember me, but I was Emory's kindergarten teacher at Sycamore Park. What a bright and fun boy! It's funny how there are some that shine in your memories. He does! Please accept my sincere condolences and love to the Rodgers family.

Condolence From: Kris S,
Condolence: There's not really anything anyone can say to ease the pain of the loss of a loved one. There simply are no words when it involves one's child. I'm praying for Emory's mom, Lesa, and other loved ones and hoping all of you will find comfort in knowing people genuinely care and grieve with you. God bless all of you.

Condolence:
My heart breaks for this beautiful young man and all who loved him. My nephew died at 21 and I have another 21 yr old nephew at risk. I met Emory only once, and briefly. He was clearly big hearted with gentle manners.Deep condolences to his family and friends and the world.

Condolence: I am so very sorry to learn of Emorys passing. He was such a sweet guy every time I talked with him. He and my son were good friends - "The kid in the next neighborhood." He certainly was a humble fighter and I so admired that about him.
