Estelle Virginia “Kitty” Nicholson, 84, of Winchester, VA passed away on Friday, August 26, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born on July 21, 1932 in Madison County, VA; the daughter of Peter C. and Mazie Berry Nicholson. She was a nurse for the Winchester Memorial Hospital and later cared for people in her own home.

Estelle is survived by her daughters, Bonnie Berrier and husband, Bill, Linda Cooper and Laurie Payne all of Winchester; her son, Michael Cooper and wife, Donna of Winchester; one brother, three sisters, eight grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by Hunter N. Cooper, the father of her four children and by a brother.

Services will be private.
