Sarah Ophelia Adams, 81, of Stephens City, VA passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at The VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, WV.

Sarah was born January 31, 1935 in Martinsburg; the daughter of the late Isaac and Ethel Fletcher Snyder. Sarah served her country in the US Air Force. She worked in production at National Fruit for many years.

Sarah is survived by her two sons, Larry Lee Adams II and his wife Barbara of Stephens City and Robert Lee Adams and his wife Debra of Winchester; her daughter Sandra Lynn Borror and her husband Timothy of Virginia Beach, VA; six grandchildren, Sarah, Johnathan, Olivia, Thomas, Katelyn and Eric, and one sister, Georgia Snyder of California.

She is preceded in death by one brother, Robert Snyder and one sister Virginia Snyder.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home with burial following at Mount Hebron Cemetery.
