Obituary for Sandra Karren Light (Watson)
Sandra Karren Light, 72, of Frederick County, VA, died Saturday, July 23, 2016 in Strasburg, VA.
She was born December 21, 1943 in Huntington, WV; the daughter of Denmar and Peggy Hively Watson.
Karren married James David Light March 24, 1967 in Arlington, VA. James preceded her in death on July 20, 2009.
Mrs. Light was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church.
She is survived by two sons, David Russell Light of Leesburg, VA and Kristjan Thomas Light of Cross Junction, VA, and one brother, David Michael Watson of Tampa, FL.
Along with her husband, James, she is preceded by a brother, Mark Watson.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 28, 2016 from 12:00-1:00 pm at the Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. A funeral will follow at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dr. David N. Young officiating. Entombment will be in Shenandoah Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be John Harrison, Travis Meyers, David Light and Kristjan Light.
