James Ole  Windle
James Ole Windle, 90, of Winchester, died Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Winchester Medical Center.

Mr. Windle was born September 25, 1925 in Harrisburg, PA, the son of Ole Columbus Windle and Dorothy Racey Windle. He married Ethel Marie Windle on July 5, 1949 in Hagerstown, Maryland.

He is survived by his daughter, Joan Anderson and her husband, Andy of Winchester, Virginia; three grandchildren, Rachelle Stump and her husband, Skip of Winchester, Virginia, Andy Anderson and his wife, Tasha of South Hadley, MA, and Matt Anderson of Nashville , TN; four great grandchildren, Jaden Stump, Mason Stump, Quincy Anderson and Emmylou Anderson.

He was preceded in death by his wife Ethel in 2014, his parents, and a brother, Norman Windle.
He was owner operator of the Red Star Restaurant. He was a WWII US Army veteran. He belonged to the VFW Post 2123 of Winchester, VA.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester. A committal will follow in Lebanon Church Cemetery in Strasburg, VA.
Pallbearers will be Andy L. Anderson, Matt Anderson, Andy J. Anderson, Skip Stump, Jaden Stump, and Bill Stinson.
