Obituary for Pamela Faye Newcomb (Newcomb)
Pamela Faye “Pam” Newcomb, 55, of Winchester, died Sunday, March 13, 2016 at Winchester Medical Center.
Pamela was born November 4, 1960 in Richmond, VA; the daughter of the late Lewis Newcomb and Minnie Catherine Smith Newcomb. Pam served a tour with the Coast Guard right out of high school. She then went on to study and train with the Salvation Army for several years at their Atlanta, GA facility. She had worked at the local Sears Department Store for the past thirteen years. In her leisure time she enjoyed several TV shows, some video games and occasionally a good book. Pam valued family above all else. She was a loving daughter, gracious sister and a devoted mother to her son, Joshua.
She is survived by her son, Joshua McNulty of Winchester; brothers, Bobby Deeds and wife, Fay of Hagerstown, MD, Johnny Newcomb and wife, Brenda of Morningside, MD, and Terry Newcomb of Bassett, VA and sister, Yvonne Bullington of Richmond, VA.
She is preceded in death by two bothers, Barry Deeds and Michael Newcomb.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester, a funeral service will follow at 11:00 with Pastor Karen Adams officating. Burial will take place in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, MD.
