Obituary for Robert Lewis Grandel
Robert Lewis Grandel, 65, of Martinsburg, WV died Saturday, March 12, 2016 at his home.
He was born June 10, 1950 in Harrisburg, PA, the son of Nolen Lee and Mary Flenner Grandel. He was a self- employed carpenter and a beloved member of the Church of The Good shepherd in Winchester, VA.
He is survived by four children, Diana M. Williams of Glengary, WV, Cheyenne Grandel, of Winchester, VA, Lyndee Grandel and Johnnie “Reb” Grandel of Florida; three brothers, Nolen Lee Grandel, Jr. of Martinsburg, WV, Donald Pierce Grandel, of Martinsburg, and Kenneth Eugene Grandel of Martinsburg, and two sisters, Doris Elizabeth Toone of Bunkerhill, WV and Cathy Marie Zydelis of Winchester.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.at the Church of The Good Shepherd in Winchester, VA with Rev. Vernon Bray and Rev. Jeffery Barbour officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Panhandle, 330 Hospice Lane, Kearneysville, WV 25430 or Church of the Good Shepherd, Benevolent Fund, 645 Berryville Ave, Winchester, VA 22602
