Robert L. Pierce ,Sr., 84, of Berryville, died Monday, January 22, 2018 at his home.
Mr. Pierce was born October 24, 1933 in Clarke County, VA; the son of the late Dandy and Lillie Tomblin Pierce. He retired after 18 years with Henkel Harris. He was a member of the Salvation Army Church.
He married Colleen Ann Rogers on December 31, 1955 in Clarke County. Mrs. Pierce preceded him in death.
He is survived by his children, Diane McDonald of Winchester, David Pierce of Clarke County, and Robert L. Pierce, Jr. of Clarke County, VA; three brothers, Johnny Pierce and Jimmy Pierce both of Winchester and Andrew Pierce of Berkeley Springs, WV; two sisters, Dorothy Christian and Shirley Pierce both of Winchester . He was preceded in death by a daughter, Bonnie Fukuyama, five brothers, Carroll Pierce, Frankie Pierce, David Pierce, Walter Pierce and Nelson Pierce; and a sister, Margaret Minnick.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Jones Funeral Home in Winchester.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Jones Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michel Q. Mayton officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hebron Cemetery.
