Obituary for Garland Eugene Evans

Garland Eugene Evans, 73, of Stephens City, VA passed away at home on May 11, 2015. He was born on July 18, 1941 in Hampshire County, WV to the late Joseph Raleigh and Clara Bell Ruckman Evans. Garland enjoyed hunting, fishing, doing farm work and gardening.
Surviving Garland is his wife of 50 years, Nellie Ludwick Evans; sons, Kenneth Evans, David Evans, Rodney Evans and fiancé Sonja and children Naomi, Jacob, and Luke; two sisters Vesta Virginia Bowman and Sylvia Jean Kibler.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Church of Christ, 140 West 15th street, Front Royal, VA 22630 on Friday, May 15, 2015 at 1 PM with Pastor Steve Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Blue Ridge Hospice.
